Love and a teddy bear

Today I am a Guest Designer for Joy of Sets and they have a Challenge with an October tic tac toe board. For my sample card I used a Mo Manning image, Elke and Bear and a sentiment from TLC, Create. For this I used the row of Bronze/ Apples / Emboss.  I used a couple of bronze brads that I found and I dry embossed the brown cardstock.  If you know when I make cards for my DT for Bugaboo I like to do all the elements in the BINGO, and I found that too challenging with this board so I made another card.

This is my second sample card as a Guest Designer for Joy of Sets and for this card I went with a Halloween theme. I used an image from Mo Manning, Hobson with treats and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I had to add some glittery ribbon and candy corn.  So my row on the board is Glimmer / Candy / Emboss.

Today at Catch the Bug is Friday Freebie and it's Pink Ribbon Gals Stella. This one means a lot to me since my Mom is a Survivor of Breast Cancer for 10 years now. I also have two Aunts that have also been diagnosed so I have another two more cards to make. For the oval background I dry embossed hearts and rubbed sandpaper over them.

Oops... Yesterday was Oldie but Goodie at Catch the Bug and for my card I used the Oh Crap Set.  I made an extra card this week and posted it since a teamie wasn't able to do so, but then I forgot to post my own assigned card. For this believe it or not...I went CAS.  The flies and fumes have Sakura jelly glitter pen to add some shine and glitter.

Coffee take me away

Today at Catch the Bug is Humor Me Wednesday and September 29th was International Coffee Day. For my card I used the image, Morning Coffee and a sentiment from TLC, Create. Truly there are days I feel like this because I stay up too late working or posting my cards. I know that I can do auto-post, but then I forget to come back and submit them into the challenges that I post.  My real job gets in the way of my crafting, lol.  I colored the clear portion of the coffee pot in with the Sakura jelly glitter pen to give it a wonderful finish.

Rusty Tractor

For my Dad's birthday I also made some cards for my children so they could give them to their Gramps.  So my daughter chose one with a vintage tractor which is perfect for my Dad who is a retired farmer who belongs to an Antique Tractor Club. I don't even know where the sentiment is from I just found it in my stash with all my papers so I used it.  I did some distressing with ink as well as a Tim Holtz distressing tool. The stamp is something that I have had forever from Deep Red, called Rusty Tractor.
