I think that the seniors just want the cards and cash and parties with their friends, lol. We're in this together

Today at Catch the Bug is Friday Freebie and we have Lady Bug Bunny.  I made this a center step card (which is great to use scraps of paper). The sentiment is from TLC, Create.  I thought it was a good card to support what is happening right now.  We feel alone, but we are all going through this new social isolation thing together.  The bunny is holding the lady bug out and the other lady bugs are keeping their distance which is just "how things are right now."  Feel like I have to walk around with a tape measure to maintain my 6 feet radius.  And with spring allergies don't DARE sneeze!!! There are plenty of jokes and funnies out there about this, but it's not funny the hoarding, financial concerns, lack of medical supplies and people that get Covid are getting VERY sick.  So stay safe and keep in contact via email, phone, Facebook, FaceTime, or how you can without getting together at this time.

Swing on over sometime

Today at Catch the Bug it's Friday Freebie and we have this Swinging Monkey.  For my card I made a gate fold card and have a sentiment from TLC,Create.  I added lots of die cuts and flowers too.  This kept it green except for my monkey.  I feel that this has been such a crazy week that the world has become such a juggle out there. I have been a nurse for 30 years when there was the scare of HIV/AIDS. And now people are so afraid of the Coronovirus that stores are out of toilet paper and tylenol/ibuprofen. REALLY? I don't know that some people ever cared that much about having a "clean crack" before and now they have a butt load of paper.  So they are going to be admitted to the hospital for bleeding hemorrhoids instead, lol. And are they thinking that they bought enough beer and wine to be home for two weeks? And the <other> medically necessary items that they need, sure, I don't think that weed/pot dealers make home deliveries. I know that I am joking about this but my job involves doing inpatient authorization for hospital stays and I see too many people being admitted for alcohol withdrawl and drug overdoses, which is no laughing matter!!! I just don't want us to have riots over stupid things such as Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer.

Happy Birthday Doc

Today at Catch the Bug it's Friday Freebie and it's Kidlet Doctor.  For this I made my own sentiment. It happens that being a nurse I work with several doctors and one more than others so this will be a perfect card for the young doctor who really has a baby face, lol. I made this a center step card. I added some dies of a band-aid, stethoscope and push pin.  This works as a Halloween costume, get well as well as a doctor's day card. So grab the freebie this week.
Welcome to Hazel my new member who also lost her cat this past week. My little girl Snookie has not been wanting to eat since she is so lonely and upset. She is walking around the house crying, wanting to be pet and held which is not like her and would not play. So I tried to get her special foods to encourage her to eat. She ate an Arby's roast beef sandwich, a little rotisserie chicken and some baby food. I was getting desperate since she wouldn't eat her soft food and was falling over because she was getting dehydrated. So I think that we are slowly making some progress. I'm trying not to stay at work late so she doesn't have really long days home alone.

Well I hope that you had a great Valentines. I just had work and the love of my two Siamese cats....I did get a text from my daughter. I actually got my cats a haircut the day before so they are cuddly not sure if it's because they are cold or just didn't like leaving home, lol.
