Happy Pawther's Day

Today we start a new challenge at Catch the Bug and the theme is "The Man, The Myth The Legend".  Now I had my Father's Day card done so I made a card for my daughter's partner.  And since they have a dog together I used, Guy Walking Dog and made my own sentiment. She loved it!
On a sad note for the Catch the Bug DT, I just want to let you know that earlier this week my fellow DT member Julie Temple passed away from surgery complications. She will be greatly missed for her wonderful creations and sweet personality. Hugs and prayers go to her family.

I used Tim Holtz Woodgrain distressed cardstock and strayed it with Distress Spray.

Pet Sympathy Cards

We are struggling with the lockdown and challenge of not knowing what to expect and stress of change. However, it also affects our critters. I am amazed at home many pet sympathies I had to make. To I made a group of 4 similar CAS designs since I need so many. I have had two lose cats and 2 lose dogs.  One that lost a dog also had their cat get seriously injured.  So then that's just another stress losing a pet during this difficult time. I lost a cat a few months ago and I know my other cat is still struggling with the lose of her sister. So we can just love our critters and I know that they are trying to help us cope.

I have so many designs of things that I want to do, but then I get caught up with having to make the required cards for my DT work, family/friend birthdays/events and then that regular job that interferes with my crafting. So I was so excited today when I got a chance to make a fun card for my OWN stash. This is using mint and black some colors that I really like.  I took an image that from Pattie's Creations Party Gnomes and only used one of them. I added Glossy Accents to the heart.

Easter Bunny Time

Today at Catch the Bug is a new Stella Says Sketch and for my card I used Cute Easter Rabbit and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  This image I colored a long time ago and it was sitting in a drawer on my desk so I'm glad that I was able to fussy cut it and use it.  I felt like the stores....Valentines is over and now I have my Easter creations out, lol. Actually since it's been so cold and we are going to have it warm up for a day or two just to get MORE SNOW! I want to go into hibernation until this season is done. The white background is dry embossed with little flowers which doesn't photograph well when I live in an igloo, haha.  Just wish that I could ship some of this wet stuff to my friends on the other side of the world. Today at Catch the Bug there is a new challenge and it's a BINGO.  I was able to do a black out again and use all the elements (otherwise I just can't decide). My image is Bug Flower Teddy and the sentiment is from TLC, Create.  I was looking for a bright cheery card since we have it snowy and cold with temps below zero....and I am tired of winter. We had our first snow on Halloween so it seems to be lasting forever!

Love Ewe CAS

Well I hope that you had a great Valentines. I just had work and the love of my two Siamese cats....I did get a text from my daughter. I actually got my cats a haircut the day before so they are cuddly not sure if it's because they are cold or just didn't like leaving home, lol.
This week there is this adorable sheep, Love Ewe at Catch the Bug. I colored mine as a "black" sheep which I thought was fitting since I think that they are just so cute. And they need love too!
