 I found another image that I had printed and just hadn't colored (which is now retired)....so sad. I feel that bees are so important so that they continue to pollinate our flowers and our circle continues. I added Spectrum Noir to the wings.

I had this image that I had printed off a long time ago and it was sitting in my craft area and I finally put it together. It is from Faery Ink and my sentiment is from TLC, Create. Since Saturday was the first day of spring and I am so ready for it, I had fun putting this card together. I added sparkle to the wings with a Spectrum Noir pen which doesn't show up well in the photo.

Today at Catch the Bug there is an older image that is moved into the new store Ribbon Prim Angel 01.  For my card, I made it a breast cancer awareness and used a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I have a co-worker going through chemotherapy right now so this is perfect to give to her.  Even with all the crazy things happening she is getting her treatments and still working. I am still working with the Lavinia stamps and trying to figure out how to get the effects that I want. I made a background of distress oxide inks. Then I stamped the images this time instead of embossing them. I am not as happy with the results. I added Spectrum Noir to the wings and stars to give a glimmer and sparkle.

Sheep Trio Happy Birthday

Today at Catch the Bug starts a new Stella Says Sketch Challenge. For this sample I used Birthday Ewe Trio and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I added Glossy Accents to the balloons.
I know that many of you have pets and know how important critters are in our lives. I have the Siamese cats which are wonderful to have since my husband passed away and my kids are grown.  On Friday my cat, Jasmine, who we usually call Jazzy was sedate and hadn't eaten for the past 3 days so I took her to my vet. She found that she was in liver failure, but unlike humans it can be reversed depending on the cause. So being that I live in a town where they have a school of Veterinary Medicine it helps that they have a clinic. So I was able to take her in and get an ultrasound.  They couldn't find anything wrong with her liver, but thought that she had an infected gallbladder.  So I decided to try a hospital stay at the UW- Vet Hospital for the weekend to give her IV fluids and antibiotics.  Then I will have to see how she responds. Today I was told that her labs were better, but still severely elevated, but she is eating. So prayers and positive thoughts for my little girl would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Live Love Laugh Fairies

Today at Catch the Bug it's New Release day or an older image is brought back into the new store and today we have Live, Love, Laugh Fairies. For this card I made this a large image and ran my cardstock through my Distress Oxide inks and heat set them and then spritzed some water on it.  I added some clear Spectrum Noir on the flowers and small bling on through out the background. So there is sparkle and shine that doesn't photograph well.  The ribbon also is sparkly and the cardstock is a glimmer.

A is for Autumn

Autumn is my favorite time of year, until I have to rake. We have had sooo much rain. I managed to get a quick walk in today before it started to rain...again. They say we don't have a good display of leaves also because of our rain and winds just knocking the leaves off the trees so we are not having the beautiful colors, argh. I have a few pictures as I leaving for work in the morning and tonight had a beautiful sunset.
