Life can sting

I just love this adorable little image from Saturated Canary and it so reminds me of my daughter when she was younger.  Paulette at TLC has the perfect sentiment for this.  Her set actually comes with paper and an image of a jellyfish.  I mail my daughter a card each week at college and she is a sophomore.  This past week she actually mailed me a letter and she downloaded some sentiments and glued them to the paper.  It was so sweet - it made me cry which takes a lot.  As she describes in her letter, I have usually been the strong, hard a** and now that she is on her own in college and a RA and has to deal with other students she appreciates her upbringing.  WOW - she is only twenty and I think she understands what it is like to be a parent.  Now my son, who will be turning 17 in a few day, well he knows everything already and to him I'm just a dumb a**.  They couldn't be more different.  I'm going to have a wait quite a few more years for him.  At least I still have hair.

Hello there,
Thanks for visiting and leaving me kind words... This card is so lovely... what a comforting sentiment. Glad you have such a gem of a daughter. Mine is 13 going on 18!!! And it is that phase where she wants to be secluded and it makes me so lonely. Hopefully she will come out of it in a couple of years and with blogging and cardmaking I will survive it. Lol.
Love,
M

Thank you for your comment Lisa, yeah the weather gets better from day to day here. *happy* and no, I wanted to sell my cards first but here in Germany people dont buy that much handmade stuff, dont ask me why, when I visit the netherlands everyone is crafting and selling their stuff, but seems that Germans are too greedy to spend a little bit more money for something handmade :( XD I love your designs!!!
