TLC Create Summer Fun Blog Hop

Paulette at TLC, Create has a wonderful freebie for you of this gorgeous vintage girl with flowers.  I distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz distress tool.  I made the background paper by putting Distress inks on my craft sheet and then spraying them with water and running my white paper through it to soak up the paper and then heat it with a heat gun, and repeat the process until I liked the finished product of colors.  Check the TLC site for the sentiment which is also in my second card.  I made that in a tri-shutter card.  You should have arrived here from Lisa D's blog if not, you might want to see the list below, and start from the beginning so that you don't miss out on any of the wonderful freebies.

The energy you put into the first card really paid off Lisa Lynn. The distressed look is wonderful. I really like your second card too. I've never done one like that but see them all the time. I'd like to attempt it but I think with how bad my measuring can be it would end up all wobbly and distorted!
