CIJ Day 6 at CTB Stella Dear Santa note

Today it's Day 6 of the Catch the Bug Christmas in July celebration and the theme is to use an Old but Goodie image with the photo. For my center step card I used Stella Dear Santa Note.  I also put a banner with bling over the image and a charm in the corner. The patterned paper and two corners have poinsettias.
For Julie's card I chose a card from back in 2015 when she had a similar layout using sassy Gus.

Today at Catch the Bug there is a Stella Says Sketch and for my card I used one of the newer stamps called Stella I tried Christmas List.  I find this image so funny because I need to watch what I say many times too, lol. I used Sakura jelly glitter pen on the duct tape and then glossy accents on top.

Me and My Cat Talk...

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and it's Anything Goes.  For my card I used one of the New Releases called Stella Me and My Cat Talk so you can grab it at the store 50% off right now.  Now I have two Siamese cats and my Dad gives me grief about it....so you have guess who will be receiving this card.

What's one more?

Well, I had my sinus surgery yesterday! I survived.  Now just have a sore throat from the ET tube from the anesthesia and now have drainage, but it's not bad.  Will just have to wait to find out if it does the trick to keep my sinus open. Thanks for all the support and prayers, I GREATLY appreciate it!

I made a wall hanging for my boyfriend's daughter who has a birthday coming up.  She has a husky puppy who I took some pictures of recently.  For this project, I was out of my comfort zone since I usually make cards.  I matted the picture like I usually do with cardstock.  I found a Plaid sticker stencil to put "ECHO" (the pup's name) in the corner and then sprayed the canvas with Ranger Meadow spray and peeled off the stencil.  I bought a dog collar and put a charm on it and put it on with glue dots. The charm has a rhinestone which makes it sparkle.  Then attached a Offray ribbon on the top.  I don't think I would pass as being a Tim Holtz, but I had fun.  I did show her a picture, and she said she has a perfect place to hang it.
