Birthday fishes

Today at Catch the Bug it's Anything but a Card.  So I made a treat bag which is from a die cut from Sizzix.  I used the image, Make it Snappy - Birthday Fishes.  I have my two nephews who have birthdays coming up soon so I plan to put some sugary treats in these to give to them.  Payback to my younger brother for giving me a hard time growing up, hehe.
Today is the Five year Anniversary of the passing of my husband so I wanted to display this also because he was known for his puns. He would have thought that this was a fun sentiment. Both of my kids called me this weekend and were thinking of him and his last hours with us. He was such a geek so he would have had my Internet taking care of quickly and not over 3 days so it was a terrible reminder of how much I miss him.  That's why it is important to appreciate the people who are in our lives, because life is all too short.

Lisa, what a lovely tribute to your husband. I am so happy that you are able to write a lovely post like this, so we can get a glimpse of your family. I love the card, as you know my Hubby would be rolling his eyes at this punny beauty. I hope the internet is playing ball now. Cx
