Floral Happy Birthday

I have several Aunt's with birthdays coming up so I have to get my birthday stash going.  I used a Verve stamp for this card.  I just love the bright colors.  It just so happens that I have managed to do all four sketches for this month - YAHOO! I can't believe that I have accomplished that with the way my month has gone with starting a new job and all.  Just to make it more exciting, I was hired as the Nursing PM Supervisor and started on February 23rd and last Friday March 27th I took a position as the Interim Director of Nursing.  I think I must be NUTs after today being my my first real day!!!!  That's why I needed to de-stress and craft a card.

Wedded Bliss

My work schedule is so hectic.  On Monday I worked a pm shift (2pm - 10:30pm) which means that I actually got done and home around 12:30 am and then had to be back for the am shift which is (6am - 2:30pm). Then when I came home, I was so exhausted it is rather difficult to get anything done around the house or even think of crafting.  I did sneak a nap in, and then made this wedding card for one that is coming up rather soon.  I just feel like a zombie.

Congratulations on your adoption

I have a family member who is adopting a new puppy, named "Titus".  So I couldn't help but to make a card for the event.  I used an image from Bugaboo that matches the adorable pup.  The sentiment is from TLC.  I made this an easel card.  It is also a sample for the Catch the Bug BINGO Challenge using Pearls (black ones for the eyes and on the wagon, embossing, die cut).

Happy Baby Shower

Well I've been at my new job which is going well, and I am meeting lots of new people.  On Saturday they are having a baby shower for one of the nurses.  I would love to attend, but my son is returning home from service and my daughter will be taking off to return back to college so I don't want to miss my last few moments with her.  So I quickly made a card.  I used the adorable image that is from the new set at Imagine That along with the matching paper.  The sentiment is from TLC and comes from a great vintage set.  My daughter was nice enough to make a tie blanket for me to give as a gift.  Shannon doesn't know what she is going to have so I had to keep it neutral.

Teresa's MIL Sympathy

My best friend's Mother-in-Law passed away on Friday afternoon so I made this card to send to her and her family.  I know that they are away right now dealing with the formalities, but I wanted them to have this as soon as they arrived home.  They have always been there for me so I wanted to show my support.  The sentiment comes from a wonderful set at TLC.

Dear Spring

I made this card as a sample for the Catch the Bug Challenge "Spring into Spring".  This image is available here.  This is using a digital stamp which is my favorite because then I don't have to pull out my ink pads and make a mess - I can just print in the size I need and get going on my coloring.  Also, then there is no storage issues since it is just kept on the hard drive on my computer instead of the mess of my craft area.  The sentiment is from TLC.  I made this a circle card using my Grand Circles from Spellbinders.  At least we have had a little warmer weather lately which has been wonderful and our snow has melted.  Maybe spring really will come....

It's a jungle out there

Kris at Imagine That! came out with a new set that is so adorable.  It is the Pandas Mini kit in which the bears look fuzzy and so cuddly.  For my card, I used a sentiment from TLC.  I had fun making decorating the inside and outside of this card with a branch and leaves.

I'm hare for you

Here is another card that I made for the Catch the Bug Challenge as a sample.  It is using a Bugaboo image and a TLC sentiment.  There is hope that spring is coming, we are to be having it get to 40 this weekend.  I just saw a post that said "Only in Wisconsin can people get excited when it turns 40 degrees!"  This is so true, especially with the cold streak we have been having.

Kris came out with some wonderful spring sets, but I wanted to make a CAS card.  I used a bra from the set that can be found here.  When I printed the card, I added a sentiment from TLC which I thought was perfect.  Then I just added a ribbon and a Joilee heart.

For this card, I used a wonderful sentiment set from TLC.  I embossed the Kraft paper as the background and added a ribbon to it along with a flower.  I made it following the Mojo sketch.  I send a card to my daughter who is in college each week, and this is what I thought she needed.
