You're soo stinkin' lovable!

Imagine That has this adorable new set out called Li'l Stinker which I think is just so adorable.  I also used the papers from the set Sending you Love Digi Papers.  I made this an easel card which is one of my favorite layouts.  I put Glossy Accents on the heart.  There is a reason that I find this so precious....my son who is now 20 years old wore a costume that I made for him when he was a 18 months and he was so cute. (See below - just don't tell him that I posted these pics, hehe).

Imagine That Digistamp came out with some gorgeous new Woodland Papers of which I used three of them for this card.  I also used Sweet Pastels to get the cloud paper.  The Acorn Bunny was a freebie on the Facebook page.  My sentiment is from TLC which is so appropriate for this card.  I added an extra branch from a die cut from Quic Kuts and made grass from a punch.

Make your mind a parachute

I always like the saying, "When pigs fly", and here is a spin of that.  Gerda Steiner has this pig with a parachute as this months stamp.  I added Glossy Accents to the goggles.  I used a sentiment from TLC.  I made this as a simple card with no embellishments so I can easily mail it and not pay extra postage which is rare for me.

Today our temperature dropped, it was a sunny day, but it was windy and cool with the high around 62 degrees.  So it was a brisk fall day.  That is when I like to snug in with something warm.  Like to cuddle my cats and sip on some Pumpkin Spice Latte.  I really was thinking about it today, but was too tired to go get some.  I did color it instead.  I used a digital stamp that came from Verve and a sentiment from TLC.  Maybe tomorrow I will sneak out for a cup.

Sprinkle each day with kindness

Tomorrow is my daughter's 24th birthday, and I am driving 120 miles in the EARLY am so I can spend the whole day with her in her 4th grade classroom.  I have not spent the whole day with 9 and 10 year olds since I volunteered once in her classroom so this should be interesting.  She enjoys working with children whereas I work with the elderly so we are different spectrums.  I have a bunch of party stuff to take to the classroom for my princess since she has ALWAYS been one.  The poor boys of this classroom will have to bear with me, but I did get some black horns and blowers so it isn't all pink.  I was going to drive tonight, but it is raining and I don't want to drive in that so I will just get up early then I won't have to pack so much.

For my card, I used the newest Verve stamp set and made a shaker card out of the flower.  I gold embossed the sentiment.  I dry embossed a brick looking background.  I also used the paper and sequins pack that came with the stamp set.

Today is my boyfriend's birthday.  So I made this card for him using the Lili of the Valley image and a sentiment from TLC.  I tease him that he is vintage so I made a card that looks like it, hehe.  He actually likes purple so that is why I actually colored it the way I did, and that was one of the first things he commented about when he saw it.

I know that last week was Grandparents Day, but I asked Paulette to make this sentiment at TLC.  She had it as part of the send from the Monthly Club which is such a great deal.  You can see here for more details.  My Mom felt she was too young to be called Grandma when she became one almost 24 years ago so she decided on the "Grammy and Gramps" at that time and it has just stuck.  My daughter will be 24 next week and my son is 20 and they live in the same area as my parents which is 100 miles away from me and they both spend more time with them than me at this time.  So I made this card for them to give to my parents.

My Dad has been helping me to do remodeling on my house which is wonderful.  Except....for I do have a mess in my craft area which my Dad has felt the need to clean and try to help organize.  That would be wonderful if my Father was a crafter; however, he is NOT.  So, I have no idea where my heat gun and neither does he. So for the Labor Day weekend when there was a discount coupon, I bought a new one. Still love my Dad :)  So with new embossing gun in hand, I made this CAS Christmas card.

Get Well Soon and NR Winner

Nurse Sara  is one of the newest sets out at Imagine That Digistamp.  For my card, I also used Speedy Recovery Papers which are a lot of fun.  My sentiment is from TLC.  I have been a nurse for 26 years so I think this is a perfect set for a nurse or for get well.  The first card I made was for a nurse, my boyfriend's daughter who just started her first nursing job.  And I always like to have a Get Well card on hand since you never know when you are going to need one.
