Today at Catch the Bug it's a New Release or an older image has been put into the new store and today we have Snowman Cocoa.  And for my sentiment comes from TLC, Create.  I made two copies of the image and used foam dots to put the second layer on top to give it depth. I used a pom on the hat.

It's been an unusual week for me since I didn't make a New Release or Friday Freebie card this week. I have been dealing with family and friends since there has been lots of sickness and deaths lately so that hasn't left me time or mojo for crafting. Then this weekend I am going to be spending with my daughter since I was able to spend time with my son last weekend...then the cats and I will be home alone for Thanksgiving this year. Speaking of which, I have this card for Catch the Bug which has a color challenge starting this week. I used Thanksgiving Brat and a sentiment from TLC, Create.

I have something more positive than all the recent sympathy cards and deaths that have been happening lately. My cousin just got a new puppy and I wanted to celebrate that with her by making her a card. I used another My Favorite Things stamp set called BB New Best Friend. Her pup is called "Busy" and officially "Busy Bee" so that's why the papers are from a digital paper set called Honey Bee.

I had a nephew and his wife had to put down one of their bulldogs due to cancer and it was very traumatic for them so I made them a card using stamps from My Favorite Things.

Unfortunately I had to go to a funeral of a friend from high school whose husband passed away. It was a tragic incident.  So I pulled together a more masculine looking card from strips of paper to follow this sketch and used a sentiment from TLC, Create.

So very thankful

Today at Catch the Bug it's Friday Freebie and for my card I have Turkey Pumpkin and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  This year, I am thankful for so many things. In my job I see people/patients who are going through rough times and it just reminds me that I have nothing to complain about. Even with this cold weather and snow at least I have a warm house and my cats instead of being homeless. But, if I keep buying stamps and supplies...I may be too. My foiling machine won't keep me warm, lol.

Darn those stray eyebrows

I'm so excited this first week as a DT member for Tuesday Morning Sketches. I am actually sharing this position with a wonderful fellow crafter and friend of mine, Kitty. So we will alternate weeks posting.  I love doing sketch challenges, but since I work full time as a nurse and am already on the Bugaboo and TLC design teams so I just didn't want to over extend myself. Today I have TMS 529.

For my card, I found a stamp at the recent Stamp Show that I went to that has just my sense of humor. It is called Stray Eyebrows from Creative Vision Stamps. I heat embossed the sentiment in silver and put some bling on the ends of the strips. I also put Sakura jelly glitter pen o the mirror.
