Thinking of you

Since I had an extra day off from work, I really should be cleaning my house since I am never home these days with work taking so much of my time.  I saw my Mother on Saturday, and she gave me some grieve that I need to "spend at least an hour a day on the house in order to keep up with it", and I told her I'm not even awake for an hour in the evening when I am home.  That's why I haven't had an opportunity to make some cards.  She also said, "you can't be spending so much time on your cards" to which I said I haven't had a chance to make one in quite a while, thanks Mom.  So much to her dismay....I had to do one because I needed some "ME" time.  I did cut the grass already so I did so something around the house first.
I used paper from My Mind's Eye - Stella Rose which is my all time favorite paper.  I used a sentiment from my Verve stamps of "Thinking of you" which I like to use for sympathy, and then inside put "during these difficult times".

Dream BIG

I love making easel cards, and had fun making this one using the images and papers from Imagine That.  The sentiment is from TLC.  I just love the colors of these Soft ball papers.  I used some stamps I had to make two softballs for the side and had some ribbon that also had stitching that looks like a softball too.

Mom's 65th Birthday

On Monday it will be my Mom's 65th Birthday.  I plan to go celebrate with her on Sunday.  She is an amazing woman and I can't put that into words.  Last night my daughter received an award, and I couldn't attend the banquet since I'm two hours away, but my parents live in town and were there.  I can always count on them.
For my card, I used the new DOTM from Imagine That.  The purple bandana paper is also from Imagine That.  The sentiment is from TLC.
