You've been in my thoughts Angel with kitty

I have a friend who had to put her cat down and this is a difficult thing for all of us when our pets leave paw prints on our hearts.  So I made this card for her using a Mo Manning image called Angel with Kitten.  I outlined the wings with Sakura jelly glitter pen, and the purple cardstock is embossed with little flowers.  The sentiment is from TLC, Create and it is distressed with ink.

Santa Claus is coming to town

Well I didn't leave the country or fall off the face of the earth.  I had to get all my Christmas cards mailed and packages which I tend to mail out about 60 cards and then have the special ones for my close immediate family.  I had my last minute shopping to get done, and check my list twice.  My boyfriend is off until after the holidays and I have been spending time with him, but that takes away from my "me" crafting time.  The holidays turn people crazy and I dislike that.  I hope that people remember the reason for the season.  I agreed to help my boyfriend's daughter print some pictures that she was giving as a gift so we stopped at Best Buy to pick up some ink so I made sure I didn't run out in the middle of the process.  It was Tuesday evening and they had only one register open and the clerk was beyond rude.  I bought one movie and 3 inks and I asked for a bag and he pointed to the bags and I had to do it myself as he stood there and there was a line.  I was appalled besides the interaction I had about my credit card and Reward Card.  Then we went to PetSmart and there again there was only one register open, and the sales clerk was the opposite and as pleasant as she could be even with one of the dog toys we purchased didn't have a tag on it.  And I couldn't pass up a new home for my cats, hehe.
My son is on a work trip and left after Thanksgiving and I'm sure when he will be returning home, but he is in South Carolina.  I made this card for him since he is in the Army Reserves using an image and sentiment from TLC.  I embossed and distressed the sides of the card and made a gate fold card for him.  I put a pom on the hat of Santa.

Let it snow circle tag

For my card today I used the image Let it snow tag and you were to use old paper from your stash instead I embossed the background with a folder that I don't know if I ever used, but I've had it for a long time so I wanted to use that instead since I really wanted a white background.  I also added a shaker box to look like a present with some snowflakes that I got from Target a couple years ago.  I kept it simple.

I almost forgot to post the last card I had for the new release for Imagine That Digistamp which is unfortunate because this is my favorite card.  It is using, Raymond's Reindeer Friend, and has a sentiment from TLC.  For this card I embossed a cloud sky background and using a die for the snowhill.  I used a wonderful product to mask the snow from Molotow.

White on White Merry Christmas

I made this White on White card and my boyfriend said to me, "Why is your card all white?"  when I explained to him that it was for a challenge he said do they all have specific rules, and I just laughed and nodded my head as I showed him on-line.  I always laugh about my card making is so that I relax and escape from the reality of life, but now my boyfriend doesn't understand since this life has lots of rules and restrictions too and I have to laugh.  I guess I just don't think about it the same way as I do about all the rules and regulations for Nursing and Home Care when it comes to Medicare and Medicaid and the such, hehe.

So here is my white embossed dry and wet (in silver) card.  It has a white pearl and two silver brads.

A Meow-tain of fun slider card

I originally got this stamp for my Dad's birthday since he complains about my three Siamese cats EVERY TIME that I talk or see him, and it gets so old.  So my new answer since he doesn't seem to hear me that I'm not going to get rid of any of my cats is that my boyfriend is going to move in with me and he has two Siamese so there will be FIVE.  So that is why I got this stamp for his birthday.  Now, I've had requests for it so I did it again, but this time I got the slider die.

It's all about the candy!

My daughter and her boyfriend came for the weekend and it was great to spend time with them.  We went to Target and I picked up some treats to send with my daughter for her to give to her students.  I had some gift cards from Target that I put in a Halloween card for my daughter, but I had to make a card for my son.  So this is the one that I sent for him.  I just love this image from Mo Manning called It's all about the candy.  I cut a circle out of a 5 X 7 card and then I embossed that cut out circle with stars.  I first inked some yellow on the stars and then inked grey over the top.
