Well here is something totally different that I did. I finally played with my Lavinia Stamps and made a scene with VersaFine ink. I made an two easel cards and on the inside I heat embossed a Lavinia sentiment and then added some die cuts and a button to have it stamp up. I just love seahorses and this Sebastian. He's so intricate.

Animals do speak to those who listen

I made an easel card using the Mo Manning image Feed the Birds and I made my own sentiment. The patterned papers are from Imagine That Digistamps. When you feed animals I feel that you do so because you have a genuine love for animals. Especially in winter to see them survive through the difficulties of finding food. So I think this wee one is learning how to do that and loves that the bird has landed on her head.

I don't have an attitude problem

Today at Catch the Bug it's Friday Freebie and we have Ruby Attitude.  I made this an easel card. She is so sassy which is what I love for a Friday.  I have to go to a bridal shower on Saturday and my girlfriend and I thought we would be sassy and pick up some naughty presents. Well, let me tell you even being a nurse I wanted to count it as an educational inservice to go to the gift shop to pick up just a few items.  I am not a shy person, but let's just say OMG!!! Yes, I was able to find a few things that we will have to give the young bride. Even though I wanted to give her a label maker, lol. I didn't think that the young lady would find it funny when my daughter who is around the same age didn't. It's practical when over tha 50% of marriages end in divorce, hehe.

Gus Yappy Birthday

I had meant to get this card done quite sometime ago for the SSW2 Sketch Challenge, but obviously I didn't finish it in time. It was Gus's 2nd birthday in May and I haven't seen my Grandpup until this past weekend. I found this wonderful Whimsy stamp, West Highland Terrier.  Gus is a Teddybear, but they look similar. I cannot display the pictures that I would love to where my daughter, who is a teacher, takes him to school with her. He is excellent with the children. She has him certified as a therapy dog and he does help calm some of her kids with special needs. This is a write up that I found on-line about the breed.
 These energetic and lively dogs are excellent companions, and generally of a much more pleasant disposition than other dogs of similar size. Teddies are obtained by intentional crossing, specifically of a Shih Tzu with a Bichon or Bichon-Poodle mix, not just any two small breeds. They are fast gaining popularity as "designer dogs".

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug.  For my card I used the image Sign it - Dog Condolences.  On the front of the card, I heat embossed a sentiment from MFT.  And on the inside I used one of my favorite TLC pet sentiments.  My co-worker asked me to make this card for her to give to a friend of her's.
I made it an easel card, which really impressed her.

I finally had some time to play today so I actually have two cards that I posted - wow - I know that's it's been awhile since I've done that.  Here is a wonderful summer birthday sentiment from TLC, Create.  I made an easel card, which is one of my favorite designs.  I bought some new Prima flowers....just don't tell my Dad who complains about how many craft supplies that I have, lol.  I just could't help myself with the blue flowers.  Later today, I will be driving back to my hometown since it's my brother's birthday to have dinner with him and celebrate with my family.
