Today at Catch the Bug it's Stella Says Sketch and for my card I used, Revel (which I now realized is retired). The sentiment is from TLC, Create. This just reminds me of my children in the summer and they loved popsicles. And the fighting for the flavors.
I spent the night tonight with my kids watching fireworks. They are done near one of my Dad's fields so we have access to sit and watch them near a campground. Pictures don't do justice for the wonderful display, but it was a lot of fun with my parents, kids and nephew.

So sorry, but I'm late! Wednesday is Humor Me day at Catch the Bug and I meant the post my card last night, but these antibiotics that I am on for my sinus infection that I have to be on for 21 days are just wiping me out...so I just thought I will do it after work on Wednesday.  So here I am now...in the middle of the night on the 4th of July, hehe. Birthday Greetings with summer flowers

I finally had some time to play today so I actually have two cards that I posted - wow - I know that's it's been awhile since I've done that.  Here is a wonderful summer birthday sentiment from TLC, Create.  I made an easel card, which is one of my favorite designs.  I bought some new Prima flowers....just don't tell my Dad who complains about how many craft supplies that I have, lol.  I just could't help myself with the blue flowers.  Later today, I will be driving back to my hometown since it's my brother's birthday to have dinner with him and celebrate with my family.

Here is a card that I made as a Thursday Inspiration for Imagine That Digistamp using the Poolside Penguins.  I made the background by blending Distress inks on Watercolor paper and then spraying water on it.

fun in the HOT HOT SUN

Well we haven't had it hot instead we keep having rain.  Actually they are saying that we are to get 2-4 inches of rain in the next 3 days so there is fear of flooding.  I don't consider it a DIY craft project to make sand bags, but it may come to that.  I usually don't have water problems, but it doesn't matter when it comes to rain like this if the rain spouts can't keep up it need to go somewhere.  The one issue that I am running into is that I have quite a few trees and dark areas, and now I'm running into mosquitoes, so when I went for a quick walk this evening they were out in swarms.
For my card, I used an image from Imagine That Digistamp called Beach Girl Framed and I colored her with copics and cut her out of the frame and put her on my background that I made using a stamp set from Stampendous and inks from Distress-Tim Holtz.  The sentiment is from TLC, Create.  I added some water to the ink to give it that look.  Then I added Glossy Accents to the sunglasses.
