It's Sweetest Day!

On Saturday it will be Sweetest Day, and I made this card for my daughter Amanda to give to her boyfriend Zach.  They have been dating for almost two years and they are an adorable couple.  I just couldn't shorten the girl in this digi though.  The sentiment is from TLC, Create.

Dear Cupcakes

For my card I used one of the new digis that is from Imagine That Digis by Kris.  The sentiment is from TLC.  I added some Stickles to my cupcakes and snow to give them some sparkle.
The most exciting part is that I have been asked by Kris to be on the Design Team and I am excited to joining them.  I was able to be a guest designer for the summer so this is wonderful to be a full part of the team now.

I have a friend's daughter's birthday in November so this is what I came up with for her birthday card.  This chubby bear from QKR is just so adorable.  The sentiment is from TLC.  I thought it was perfect with banner paper.  I did some Stickles on the flames of the candles and Pearl Accents on the candles and cake.

Happy 21st Birthday

I have a friend's daughter who is turning 21 later this month.  I thought this image From the Heart and sentiment from TLC were a great combo.  I added liquid applique to make it look like beer foam.  I tried to make it a fun card.

TLC has a progressive challenge going and here is my third card.  I made a pop up card.  I used Distress ink on the image.  I also used quite a few die cuts and some bling. 
I wanted to get this posted since it is World Card Making Day.  I have several other cards I made this morning that I am hoping to get posted later.  This card I want to send to my brother-in-law who is a retired music teacher who is having a lot of stress in his life right now.  He ALWAYS comments on my cards so I thought he would enjoy the pop-up card.

Thank you for pumpkin spice lattes

This is the second image at the progressive challenge at TLC.  I used patterned paper that was a perfect match that has pumpkins and coffee beans from TLC as well as the sentiment which is part of a great set.  I used my Tim Holtz distress inks and  spritzed the paper with water and crumbled it too to give it a distressed vintage look.  I used a die cut to go around the sentiment and colored the edge with ink.
