Today at Catch the Bug is New Release day and we have Scarlette Presents and I also used a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I used my Sakura jelly glitter pen on the ribbon to give it a glitter of sparkle and keep that feminine feel. I always like to keep a stash of birthday cards.

I have a card that I made for my son to give to his girlfriend who is "into" pandas. The stamp set is from Newton's Nook, Playful Pandas. I already sent him a picture and he likes the card so all is good. The patterned paper is from a paper pack I just won at Double D last month.

So many birthdays under your belt

My Dad's having his 74th birthday on Monday, and I found a stamp set that I had from Raisin Boat and made this card for him. I am trying to make arrangements to visit him to give him his card and present, but my Mom and him are "too busy".  So I am frustrated since my children and I are wanting to celebrate his birthday. Don't get me wrong, I am glad that they are active and are able to go out and do things, but it is sad that they cannot find a couple of hours for their family.

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and I used 4 Block Tulip Square. I know that so many challenges are starting to look at Autumn/Fall images, but I still want to savor in summer since I just feel like we haven't had it long enough even though Autumn is my favorite. I'm not going!

Today at Catch the Bug is New Release day and we have Ruby No Chocolate.  I outlined the cloud in Sakura jelly glitter pen. Then did layers of white cardstock and blue vellum for her clouds. I have been diabetic since the age of 11 so I don't crave chocolate unless it's peanut butter cups. Now they have Skippy Bites which I am totally addicted to and have every day on my morning break which are just balls of peanut butter.  And I think many of us feel we wouldn't go if they didn't have ink pads, lol. I do have friends that wouldn't go if there  wasn't chocolate so at least I have people to give the card to, hehe.

Today at Catch the Bug starts a new Stella Says Sketch and for my card, I used one of the three scarecrows from Scarecrow Trio. Do you believe this another CAS card for me? However, I had to emboss the white background because the flat white freaked me out. I didn't even put a sentiment on it, wow. I almost feel like a rebellious teen-ager except I just went for a walk and my body is reminding my that I am an old lady and more like a petrified mummy, lol.
