Today at Catch the Bug there is a Friday Freebie of this Cute Troll. For my card, I used a sentiment from TLC, Create. I think this troll is just so adorable and colored it for a baby boy card.

I want to make some cards to give as gifts and so I want a "variety" pack with some baby, wedding, birthday, sympathy and holiday cards to give. So I made this one for that. I used a Bugaboo image and made a center step card.
I have to tell the truth...I have sewn my daughter's costumes for Halloween and then when she was about 14 I thought she was old enough and didn't need to go anymore and I didn't need to keep making costumes so I made her a pumpkin costume and said, "This is the last costume I am making you so if you keep going it better last you." So then with my husband having cancer and so on and with her being on the dance team they had parties and she didn't tell me she just wore her pumpkin. So her friends teased her that she was a pumpkin and these girls wore very mature outfits. She didn't care she wasn't going to stress me out and it did because I felt bad for her, but she wouldn't let me buy or make her another outfit. Now that she is 25, she STILL wears the pumpkin I made her as a teacher. This year, she bought the Cinderella to go with her boyfriend, but she didn't think it was appropriate for school because it was low - cut and she doesn't show ANY cleavage as a teacher. So I had to buy a pumpkin costume for her pup, Gus to match. She finally sent me the picture of the two of them as they went to puppy class on Tuesday night.

B is for Boy and Boats

Thursday is DT Inspiration at Imagine That Digistamp and I have been meaning to get this card posted, but I have been sidetracked. My Dad has been helping me with some home projects and what was on the list was the office which is on my first floor underneath both my two upstairs bathrooms (which both have had plumbing issues in the past so the ceiling has been open) was to put in a drop ceiling so that the plumbing could be exposed if needed. Also, the room needed to be painted and I decided to go from ivory to a light gray. My Dad also decided to put in three LED light fixtures to brighten the room. I painted on Monday, and it needs another coat. Then the home had an intercom system in the wall and I asked if my Dad could disconnect the unit in the wall and patch the hole with drywall so he is doing that now. So he came back to today. The ceiling is done, but the walls still need some work. He also put new lights outside on my garage.
For my card, I used the pre-colored Little Blessings image and a sentiment from TLC. The papers are from Image That Digistamp sets Tean 'n Lace and Sweet Pastels.
