Today at Catch the Bug it's Anything but a Card and I made a tag using Jesse Bear Angel Star Cloud and a sentiment from TLC, Create. Jodie has the image on sale this week. I stenciled the clouds on the tag the added the image and sentiment. Thought it would be perfect for a baby gift or shower.

There is snow one like you

Today is a New Release day at Catch the Bug and it is the Prize Gift set from the Holiday Chaos set.  I colored this snowman with a hot pink scarf and blue birds.  I wanted some non-Traditional Christmas colors.

I know this weekend we got a little snow and then Monday some more...so for those of you who also got snow please be safe since people are just getting used to slippery roads and sidewalks once again. Baby Boy Center Step card

I want to make some cards to give as gifts and so I want a "variety" pack with some baby, wedding, birthday, sympathy and holiday cards to give.  So I made this one for that.  I used a Bugaboo image and made a center step card.
I have to tell the truth...I have sewn my daughter's costumes for Halloween and then when she was about 14 I thought she was old enough and didn't need to go anymore and I didn't need to keep making costumes so I made her a pumpkin costume and said, "This is the last costume I am making you so if you keep going it better last you."  So then with my husband having cancer and so on and with her being on the dance team they had parties and she didn't tell me she just wore her pumpkin.  So her friends teased her that she was a pumpkin and these girls wore very mature outfits.  She didn't care she wasn't going to stress me out and it did because I felt bad for her, but she wouldn't let me buy or make her another outfit.  Now that she is 25, she STILL wears the pumpkin I made her as a teacher.  This year, she bought the Cinderella to go with her boyfriend, but she didn't think it was appropriate for school because it was low - cut and she doesn't show ANY cleavage as a teacher.  So I had to buy a pumpkin costume for her pup, Gus to match.  She finally sent me the picture of the two of them as they went to puppy class on Tuesday night.

I actually made another CAS Halloween card using a Bugaboo image.  I added some beady eyes to the ghosts and colored the image.  I put Molotow masking liquid on the dot stars and then used a Sakura jelly glitter pen to color them in.

Oh my stars

I made this second space card using this astronaut from Bugaboo which I think is a retired image since I couldn't find it in the new store.  The sentiment is from TLC, Create.  I put Glossy Accent on his helmet.  I embossed the neon yellow paper which is to represent the moon - for my card purpose there is no debate whether he is really on the moon or not, hehe.

May the BEACH be with you!

For this card, I created a background for the beach girl using watercolor paper and Distress inks.  I blended them and then sprayed them with water.  I added Glossy Accents to the sun glasses and beach ball.  I distressed the sentiment.  I took some pictures of my friend's granddaughter and her cousin on the 4th and I will be giving them a card.

You make my TU-LIPS smile, Happy Easter

After roses, tulips are one of my favorite flowers.  I am so lucky that I have great friends.  Life has been challenging lately and last week my friend Teresa gave me a bouquet of pink tulips and last night my friend Barb gave me a red rose.  Even with all the difficulties I am so blessed with wonderful friends.
