In trying to keep up with my Christmas cards for the month here is number 2. And I guess that they were more Winter cards. I tried to follow a couple of themes which was to use a reindeer, house, trees, red/gold, no stamping, ribbon which just fits with my own goal of using some of my die cuts that have been collecting dust. I had fun creating this scene.

Santa Claus is coming to town

Well we are moving along on the 9th Annual Christmas in July at Catch the Bug.  Today is Day 3 and it's Anything but a Card and the theme is the movie "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Which was a favorite when I was a child and when my kids were little.  For my project I pulled a gift bag out of my stash and added the image of Kidz Christmas Boy and his dog and I added a sentiment from TLC, Create to also go with the theme.  Remember that any Christmas images are 50% off if you use the code CIJ50.

Oh Deer Winter is here!

This is my last card for the Catch the Bug Christmas in July day 7 Recipe Challenge.  This is using the Friday Freebie image and adding some sparkle which is from the Sakura jelly glitter pen on the snowflakes and bell on the collar and the glitter red paper.  The sentiment is from TLC, Create.  The recipe is to do Black, White or kraft with a pop of another color which I added red.  I actually managed to complete the week.  It just took me longer than I wanted....my daughter and her boyfriend came today with their new pup which was a distraction.

Well I have been trying to push myself to work on some projects so I keep up with making some Christmas cards and I thank you for all the wonderful comments on the loss of my furball.  My other cats are going through an adjustment as well. I like to do the Catch the Bug Christmas in July Week Challenge so I'm trying to get caught up with that.  Here is my first card, using Reindeer Blocks.  To add some sparkle and shine I outlined the snowflakes in Sakura jelly glitter pen.  The stars are in a shiny silver.  And the red paper has a sparkly shine.
