Today at Catch the Bug starts a new Saturday Challenge in which the theme is a BINGO.  For my card, I used part of the 3 Square Floral Thinking of You and the sentiment is from a retired Verve set that I heat embossed. The background has lines and dots which is dry embossed, the photo doesn't show it well. I did some faux stitches.  So I was able to do a white out or complete BINGO card.  My player's choice was a sentiment  I used a Martha Stewart ladybug punch and some ribbon. So go see what the team did and join in. There is a cute bee freebie for the week.

Today I made another birthday card for my stash. I used my new Spellbinder Hot Foil system for the die and sentiment.  I dry embossed the background and then added some lace, ribbon and flowers.  The only green that I could get was on the leaf of the flower embellishment.

Another year old? Bummer!

Well my Dad's birthday is in September and we give each other a lot of teasing.  And, he really gives me grief about having too many craft supplies, well duh what card maker doesn't??? However, then when I make something he pays attention on how I assemble it or the details.  So this year, I made this AI card with the shaker component, which will impress him.  He also likes lots of color, so that's why I went with the bright colors instead of neutrals.  I also made the envelope with the switch in the shirt/sign colors.
