CIJ Day 5 at CTB Gus Christmas I tried

Today it's Day 5 of the Christmas in July celebration at Catch the Bug and the theme for today is to make us laugh. For my card I used the image, Gus I tried Christmas List.  I feel that is my list too, lol. I added Glossy Accents to his glasses and Sakura Jelly Glitter Pen to the ornaments.  Gus doesn't look too sorry that he downed a few beers, it must be his weekend binge which is like a lot of people who I know around here. Good thing he has those reindeer. I actually did a CAS card even though I just had to put a strip of patterned paper....too much white freaks me out, lol.  Welcome to A. Rose my new follower who I have seen on both my design teams and she has lots of great creations.
I am showing a sample card for Julie's that she has a Santa having a summer drink to relax that she made back in 2014 which is a cutie. And she had a strip of patterned paper on the side.

All aboard the 3 Birthday Train

My friend asked me to make a card for her grandson who is turning 3 who loves trains so this is what I made for her. The sentiments are from TLC, Create.  The "3" is a digital image from the Sweet Shoppe.  The train I stamped from the Alley Way (which I think is out of business now). I made this a pop up box card.

Today at the Catch the Bug there is a New Release and it's this Bug Monsters 4 Block.  It comes blank where I added the sentiment from TLC, Create and another version that includes a sentiment.  I added some googly eyes and bling.  This is a fun card for a boy or a man who is just young at heart.

Another year old? Bummer!

Well my Dad's birthday is in September and we give each other a lot of teasing.  And, he really gives me grief about having too many craft supplies, well duh what card maker doesn't??? However, then when I make something he pays attention on how I assemble it or the details.  So this year, I made this AI card with the shaker component, which will impress him.  He also likes lots of color, so that's why I went with the bright colors instead of neutrals.  I also made the envelope with the switch in the shirt/sign colors.

I always seen to run out of male birthday cards. This week it was my Godfather's birthday so I wanted a masculine card.  I used a Spellbinder die cut and made 2 cards of two different designs to come up with four quick cards.  On two cards, I used a sentiment from TLC, Create and on the other two I stamped a sentiment from Raisin Boat.

Mojo Fish Card

I made this masculine Fish card using a stamp that I got from Unity Stamps called Best Fishes.  It has wonderful sentiments for Father's Day, but my Dad is not a fisherman.  I have several Uncles that are so they will get the card; however, I knew that I will put the sentiments to use at some point.  I added an anchor and a couple of bling to finish off the card.
