Have a wheelie great birthday!

Today is my Mom's 70th birthday and we were planning to have a party for her this past weekend, but due to the way that things are....it is postponed. My Mom and Dad are best friends so I thought this was a great image for her and for the AI challenge.  It reminds me of my daughter's dog that could be with them. They are active and always on the go so this staying at home is hard for them.

Sheep Trio Happy Birthday

Today at Catch the Bug starts a new Stella Says Sketch Challenge. For this sample I used Birthday Ewe Trio and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I added Glossy Accents to the balloons.
I know that many of you have pets and know how important critters are in our lives. I have the Siamese cats which are wonderful to have since my husband passed away and my kids are grown.  On Friday my cat, Jasmine, who we usually call Jazzy was sedate and hadn't eaten for the past 3 days so I took her to my vet. She found that she was in liver failure, but unlike humans it can be reversed depending on the cause. So being that I live in a town where they have a school of Veterinary Medicine it helps that they have a clinic. So I was able to take her in and get an ultrasound.  They couldn't find anything wrong with her liver, but thought that she had an infected gallbladder.  So I decided to try a hospital stay at the UW- Vet Hospital for the weekend to give her IV fluids and antibiotics.  Then I will have to see how she responds. Today I was told that her labs were better, but still severely elevated, but she is eating. So prayers and positive thoughts for my little girl would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Time for a Birthday SUGAR HIGH!

Today is a Friday Freebie at Catch the Bug and this Birthday Penguin Cupcake is the perfect one to get us started for tomorrow will be the 8th Birthday Bash.  On my card, the sentiment is from TLC, Create. I have been diabetic since the age 11 so eating a cupcake that large would REALLY cause a high blood sugar to say the least, hehe.  For my card, I used Glossy Accents on the balloons. My border punch from Martha Stewart has butterflies that lift up.  The Birthday Bash will be Cupcakes, birds and butterflies so pull out all of your supplies.

I got this stamp from Art Impression when they had their birthday sale and I have finally used it.  I did some cleaning, and couldn't find my Memento ink pad so I used my Versafine which I think was too muddy.  I used my dies from My Favorite Things that were just retired and put pop dots behind the pink ones.  The image is two side so there is a front and back and I put a piece of patterned paper in between the image and the inside of the card.

Imagine That Digistamp has some new stamps that came out when I was on vacation, and I just love this bear, called Love Bears so I had to color it and I paper pieced two of the hearts with some of the new papers from the Owl Always Love You Paper Set.  You can get a great deal by getting the Valentine Bundle.  For my card, I used a sentiment from TLC, and I used a die cut to help me color in the clouds.
