Sometimes don't you just want to SCREAM

 I think that we all have days when we want to scream and can understand when someone does. Especially during these crazy Covid pandemic times. I think that everyone has their own personal issues and then we just add the layers of dealing with others, politics, finances, health, personal believes, faith and we just get blasted with social media and it's overwhelming. As a nurse that gets to review inpatient hospital stays I can honestly say that people are having more mental health admissions, suicide attempts, alcohol and drug related admissions, accidents and then just not going to the doctor so more late diagnosis of cancers, heart disease and many conditions.
 That's why I make my cards to de-stress. Please remember to find time for "you" and take care of yourself. Hugs.

Wishing you the berry best birthday

I know that summer is coming to an end, but I love strawberries.  When I went to the grocery store the other day my cart was full of fresh fruit because I knew my daughter was coming home again this weekend and she also loves fruit.  I don't usually buy a whole watermelon because I just don't eat being by myself, but knowing that she would be here with her boyfriend....well I got that along with cantelope and berries galore.  I am just lucky I don't have hives, hehe.  I made this card using a sentiment from TLC, Create and some buttons.

Strawberries and Cream

I have been busy doing some cleaning of my house and trying to go through my kids rooms since they are grown and no longer live at home.  Then as it worked out we had a 3-way cell phone call tonight which was a lot of fun since my daughter is about 2 hours away and my son is in KY on a Army Reserve training and I'm in WI.  It was great to catch up with them, and I will be driving north to see my daughter, parents and brother/nephews tomorrow.  We will be celebrating my Brother's birthday.
For my card, I used the pre-colored image from Imagine That Digistamp from the Parfait Delights and the paper is from the Tooty Fruity Digi Paper Set.  I put Glossy Accent on the glass portion of the image.  This is a great summer dessert that is light and refreshing.
