More appliance woes....I was to have my new steam dryer installed on Monday, but when they came to install I didn't realize that our old dryer was gas, ARGH! After all that we went through with the oven now I had bought an electric dryer (my husband forgot since he bought the old one before I married him). Now I had to call the plumber to come back to cap the gas line which cost another couple hundred dollars then when I called the store to set up to have them come back to install the dryer they told me I had to come in to the store to set up and couldn't do it over the phone. This didn't sound acceptable to me since all that they needed to do was the hook up which was free and take the old dryer which was also free so I finally LOST it. I'm having people over for dinner on Wednesday and still needed to go grocery shopping and haven't done laundry in two weeks so I was over the top. My husband has been having more pain and having more difficulty walking/transferring and now has a small open area on his butt which as a nurse has me over the edge. So it was just my breaking point. I took a little time to calm down, and went to the store and calmly talked to the clerk and store manager who was wonderful and apologized and said they would set up for someone to come on Wednesday and set up the dryer. I was told someone would call on Tuesday evening with the time of delivery so I went about and ran around and did my grocery shopping. When I got home the store was closed and we didn't receive a call for delivery which my husband didn't think we should call the store so I will see if I have a dryer later today or not.
For my card, I used one of the new die cut sets from My Favorite Things in two different shades of grey. I also used a button from My Favorite Things and a border punch with birds from Martha Stewart.

Oh...I love those feathers too! Great color combo you're used! Thanks so much for joining us at Dynamic Duos this week :)
P.S. I hope life has calmed down for you now. It seems appliance deliveries and set up never go smoothly.
Very pretty take on the sketch, Lisa Lynn! Love those feather die cuts! :^)
Oh, my, what ever are we going to do with you and your appliances? My word, never heard of someone having so many problems with them! You need to get rid of the appliance demon that is lurking nearby, lol!
But the situation is not funny with your hubby. I feel so badly for you both. Hope things improve soon!
Hugs, Penny
