I needed a quick masculine birthday card for one of our administrators. I had the dotted paper sitting on top of my paper pile and already had Gus printed out so....I colored him up and put it together using the SSW2 layout. Then I hoped that I didn't offend him with the sentiment with the political times that we are in. He laughed when he received it.

Limes bringing smiles or Tequila

I have two cards that I made using a stamp step from Picket Fence Studios and then I used my own sentiments that I printed off on the computer. For both of these card I used my Distress Oxides to make a blended page using Squeezed Lemonade, Pine Needles and Twisted Citron. On the one card I dry embossed a piece of the cardstock. Lately I just have a taste for some zesty limes and I tend to add it to my water....along with some lemon, oranges and strawberries for a fruity flavored water.

Yappy Birthday

Well my Grandpup's birthday is coming up so I had to make him a birthday card. Well it's also time for a new Stella Says Sketch at Catch the Bug and I used one of the images from the Birthday Puppies Set. The sentiment I heat embossed in gold is from My Favorite Things, Pups and Kisses.
Gus is having a hard time and "acting up" for my daughter. She is a 4th grade teacher and both her and her significant other are working from home right now. Gus usually went to doggy daycare on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and then went to school with my daughter on Fridays. So now he just goes to daycare once a week. He is a social dog so he won't cuddle or listen to my daughter. I think he is upset because of the change in his routine. She is devastated. This quarantine and staying home is affecting EVERYONE! We don't always realize that our critters don't understand what is happening.

I'm so pumped!

Today is a new release day at Catch the Bug and for my second card I used the image Bugaboo Brat Diabetic Girl.  The sentiment is computer generated and I punched out the flowers.  I have been diabetic since I was 11 so it's been 40 years now.  And I have had an insulin pump for over 20 years. I plan to donate these cards to my Diabetic Nurse Educator to give to new diabetics.

Sorry about your Boo Boo

I have an uncle who had to have surgery so I made this card for him and he should receive it as he returns home from the hospital.  The image and sentiment is from Mo Manning called Boo Boo. I have a bunch of Mo's images and just had to color one up for this.
I haven't told anything personal in quite sometime so I am going to just vent for a second....I have a lot with lots of trees so hence lots of leaves.  All weekend long I have been trying to get outside and deal with my yard which I'm sure my neighbors are not happy with since working full time I have not done during the week. On Saturday after being out for 30 minutes it started to rain and then Sunday I was out for 45 minutes.  Today I rushed home and in the dark I had 30 minutes to have just a small pile before it started to rain, really.  These leaves are wet and I have mushrooms growing underneath.  Luckily I went to my Allergy appointment to find out that I don't have allergies just chronic sinusitis with a wonderful sinus infection since June so we are trying another antibiotic.  OK, thanks, at least I typed out my story and beat on my keys, lol.
