Christmas in July - Penguin Tag

Today is the third day of the Christmas in July at Catch the Bug 7th Annual party.  For today is to make anything but a card.  I made a gift tag holder, using the little penguin winter.  I put this on a winter soap from Bath & Body Works; however, it could also go on a wine bottle or a door knob as a hanger.

Christmas is July - Have a Beary Merry Christmas

Today is the second day of the Christmas in July at Catch the Bug 7th Annual party.  Today there is a special sketch if you want to play along for the week of challenges and special prizes.  So sorry that I am so late posting this today...I am recovering from my 50th Birthday Party that my family and friends had for me yesterday.  Now, I don't drink because of being a diabetic since the age of 11, but I have been fighting a sinus infection so that has just knocked me on my butt.  We went to our local zoo which is small, but wonderful and free.  Then had dinner with my family and friends.  Then a couple of friends and myself went to see the Momma Mia movie.
For my card, I used an image from a great set, Mini set - winter bears.  I put a pom on the hat. Also used Sakura jelly glitter pen and Sakura jelly white pen.  Also if you need images, Bugaboo has the Christmas stamps 50% off the rest of the month.

Christmas in July - Dear Santa I'm Cute!

Today starts off a week long challenges at Catch the Bug where it is Christmas in July.  Today for the Saturday Challenge it is "Baby it's Cold Outside."  For my card, I used the image, Christmas Trio Block and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I outlined the snowflakes and ornament string in Sakura jelly glitter pen.

Life Lessons polka dots

Today it's New Release day at Catch the Bug and there is a wonderful image called Bug Window Girl.  The hilarious sentiment is from TLC, Create and so is the patterned paper.  I put velum on top on the patterned paper and lace on the top edge to look like white underwear to be silly.  I added some polka dot flowers and a 3D butterfly.  I think this is such a fun card for Friday the 13th...just in case you have a superstitious mind.

Heavens doggy door

I can't believe that I keep having friends who are loosing their furry loved ones which is so sad.  It is also a year since I lost my Siamese male and that has been difficult.  I have two other Siamese cats, but it's just not the same.  So I made another card using the Bugaboo image of Sign it - Dog condolences and a sentiment from TLC, Create.

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug.  For my card I used the image Sign it - Dog Condolences.  On the front of the card, I heat embossed a sentiment from MFT.  And on the inside I used one of my favorite TLC pet sentiments.  My co-worker asked me to make this card for her to give to a friend of her's.
I made it an easel card, which really impressed her.
