Stella on quarantine

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and it's the first Saturday so it's an Anything Goes Challenge. For my card, I used the image, Stella Summer Blocks - 5 o'clock and I got special permission from the owner Jodie to alter the sentiments.  Then I computer generated my own.  I did two cards.  I have some friends who need encouragement during this time so I am hoping that this help.

Saturday started a new challenge at Catch the Bug and it's Anything Goes. So for my card, I used Floral Wreath 01 and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  The patterned paper is from Bearly Mine which is retired and the ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Sorry I'm late in posting, I've needed to spend more time wit my cat Snookie who is lonely and grieving the loss of her sister. She is eating, but I had to buy some baby food which she seems to prefer to her soft food. But I will let her eat it since she's at least eating.

So I was a little overwhelmed with work, and I posted my cards on the wrong dates. So the card that I told them I was going to post today I posted early, argh. So deep breath.
Today at Catch the Bug starts a new challenge and it's a Anything Goes Challenge. And for this card I used Tags Rose Bud Tag and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I made the sentiment on a banner where is tucked the tag in so it can be removed so that the tag can be used as a book mark if  the person would want.

Me and My Cat Talk...

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and it's Anything Goes.  For my card I used one of the New Releases called Stella Me and My Cat Talk so you can grab it at the store 50% off right now.  Now I have two Siamese cats and my Dad gives me grief about it....so you have guess who will be receiving this card.

I know that so many challenges are starting to look at Autumn/Fall images, but I still want to savor in summer since I just feel like we haven't had it long enough even though Autumn is my favorite. Birthday filled to the brim with Happiness

Well, I am late again with my Catch the Bug post.  This is because my daughter came to spend some time with me since around my birthday we had to travel for a family funeral. So Saturday started a new challenge which is an Anything Goes since it's the beginning of the month.  I used an image from the new Christmas set, Gingerbread Wishes Set and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I have quite a few birthdays just before the holidays so I thought this would be a perfect birthday card.  The 50% of Christmas sale is extended until August 5th so still time to grab this set.

Today is the start of a new challenge at Catch the Bug, and being the first Saturday of the month it's an Anything Goes Challenge.  For my card, I used Cute Reindeer Peeker and a sentiment from TLC, Create. I wanted to make at least two Christmas cards a month so I wouldn't have such a push at the end of the year, but I haven't been meeting my goal so I tried to start the month off right.  I like non-traditional colors so I went with the blue and brown.

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and being the first Saturday of the month it's an Anything Goes.  For my card, I used Rock Star Boy.  I used the Ranger Spray around the image to try to match the smudges on the patterned paper.  From the photo you can't see, but it has a wonderful light shimmer that goes well with the metallic stars and title. I gave this card to my nephew today who turned 9.

Saturday starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and for the first weekend it's Anything Goes.  I actually made two samples today.  So for my first card, I used one of the images from Valentine Circle Sentiments.  For this card, I used my Scalloped Heart Spellbinder Die Cut  on a piece of white cardstock and then sprayed it with Glimmer Mist to get the splatter effects. I added a heart gem and then some sequins.

Wishing you a FaBOOlous Halloween

I can't believe that it's already September 1st.  The fall season will soon be upon us.  Today there is a new challenge at Catch the Bug and it's a Anything Goes.  For my card, I chose Halloween Silhouette and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I used 3 colors of Distress Oxide inks to cover the image and then blending the inks.  Now that my kids are grown, I don't need as many Halloween cards, but I still give out a few.  We are getting so much rain in the area, we have had lots of flooding.  On Tuesday they actually had us leave work early so we didn't get stranded at work.  So I have been fortunate to not have water damage at my house so my water marks were added on purpose, lol..

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug.  For my card I used the image Sign it - Dog Condolences.  On the front of the card, I heat embossed a sentiment from MFT.  And on the inside I used one of my favorite TLC pet sentiments.  My co-worker asked me to make this card for her to give to a friend of her's.
I made it an easel card, which really impressed her.
