Butterfly foil TMS 553

Today starts a new challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  For my card, I used my Spellbinder Glimmer Hot Foil System to make the Glimmering butterflies. And I had some DCWV paper with butterflies that had some metallic pages in the pack that went well with this image.  I found a butterfly embossing folder for the background. I didn't put a sentiment on it since I thought I could use it for a birthday, thinking of you or sympathy depending on my need.

Rose Oval Happy Birthday to You

Today at Catch the Bug we have an older image that is brought into the new store and it's Oval Rose Frame.  I used a sentiment from Stampendous and heat embossed it.  I added some pearls, lace and roses to finish the card.

Have a wheelie great birthday!

Today is my Mom's 70th birthday and we were planning to have a party for her this past weekend, but due to the way that things are....it is postponed. My Mom and Dad are best friends so I thought this was a great image for her and for the AI challenge.  It reminds me of my daughter's dog that could be with them. They are active and always on the go so this staying at home is hard for them.

Deer Scene Merry Christmas

Well I know it's the beginning of May, but since it's my goal to complete several Christmas cards each month I thought I would do one right away.  I used this die cut that I have in my stash with this deer scene and added a blended distress oxide background. I embossed and added some layers, ribbon and die cut sentiment.

Stella on quarantine

Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and it's the first Saturday so it's an Anything Goes Challenge. For my card, I used the image, Stella Summer Blocks - 5 o'clock and I got special permission from the owner Jodie to alter the sentiments.  Then I computer generated my own.  I did two cards.  I have some friends who need encouragement during this time so I am hoping that this help.

Not me, but someone

I have a co-worker who is struggling with the Co-vid virus and all the precautions. She suffers from OCD and then having this added is just too much. But trying to give her a card is difficult because she won't open it. So I thought that I would email it to her. Tim Holtz has the Snarky Cats, which fits her personality. So I made a CAS card with a stencil and some doodles.
