Love Ewe CAS

Well I hope that you had a great Valentines. I just had work and the love of my two Siamese cats....I did get a text from my daughter. I actually got my cats a haircut the day before so they are cuddly not sure if it's because they are cold or just didn't like leaving home, lol.
This week there is this adorable sheep, Love Ewe at Catch the Bug. I colored mine as a "black" sheep which I thought was fitting since I think that they are just so cute. And they need love too!

Love Ewe

Well this year when I Christmas shopping the last week before Christmas they already had Valentines items in the store and I was surprised. Not that I should be because soon it will be after St. Patrick's Day they will be putting Valentine's stuff out again, lol. And, I'm already working on my Valentine's cards since I send them to my family....usually because I am horrible about getting my Christmas cards mailed out.
For this card, I used the new Stella Says Sketch that starts today at Catch the Bug. My image is Love Ewe.  For my background, I dry embossed it with little hearts from Cuttlebug and then sprayed it with 3 different colors of Glimmer Mist colors so it has a sparkle. On the sides I added some sparkly Washi tape that matched perfectly. Then I fussy cut out the image and had the heart be red instead of pink so it would stand out. Love EWE

Today is Friday Freebie at Catch the Bug, and today it's Love EWE.  For this card I wanted a lot of texture. I dry embossed the background, I put the stamp on a thick felt heart, I put pearls and stickers on the background as well as ribbon.
I'm afraid that this ribbon looks like the freezing rain/ice that we are getting. Now we are to be getting about an inch of snow on top of it.  It's just crazy.  They had a picture on the news of a person ice skating on the sidewalk.
