Christmas Mouse for Gecko Galz

 It's been quite a while since I last posted in this blog, but I wanted to have this adorable Christmas card that I made for the Gecko Galz Christmas Challenge. I printed the image on glossy photo paper and the DCWV Christmas paper has silver foil so that it shines nicely.

Winter Snowman

Today at Catch the Bug it's New Release day or an image has been added to the new store that was from the old store.  Today we have Snowman Winter.  I added Stickles to the snow areas and some bling to the snowflakes. Lyra's First Christmas

My best friend wanted me to make a Christmas card for her Granddaughter, Lyra and she wanted it to be a Minnie Mouse card.  I had a Minnie die and put a Christmas hat on it.  I used a Doodle Bug sticker which I have had FOREVER.  I used computer font for the sentiment.  My friend has been sick, and today had to take her Mom into Urgent Care and she has pneumonia...so we still have to go shopping to find a Minnie plush for Lyra for Christmas yet this week.

Thanks a latte

I had planned to get around and do some commenting and make some cards for the 2017 Winter Coffee Lovers Hop, but I made some the other night that I will just post.  There are days that just don't as planned!!!  My best friend, a fellow nurse, has been sick since the weekend and called me this am and asked me to take her to the Urgent Care.  They ruled out that she didn't have pneumonia, but may have a viral influenza.  Well, it seems EVERYONE in the area is suffering from sinus issues right now, but it is that time of year then when you add stress and everything else - it is just a germ fest.  So maybe tomorrow.....I will get around to everyone or at least try.
For this card, I used a Sizzix die for the coffee cups and heat embossed a Verve sentiment.  I dry embossed the snowflake background. I made this thank you card for my daughter who needs plenty of them as a teacher.

Today at Catch the Bug it is the Wednesday Tutorial and I made this Snowman Peeker Panel Pull-Out card.  This image works perfectly for this card.  This will be a long post...sorry since I will be listing all the steps to make this card.  The sentiment is from TLC, Create.

Here is another Christmas card using a vintage image from TLC, Create as well as a sentiment.  I distressed the edges of the paper and on the image I put some Distress "Old Paper" ink.  I put two blue feathers behind the image as well as added some lace and a beautiful white poinsettia.

No peeking

I finally pulled out my Newton's Nook stamps and inked them up.  I have 3 Siamese cats and I am trying to get them in for their routine visits with the vet yesterday and today.  I left the carrier out since I took the one girl, Snookie for a hair cut and today the two girls were to go.  I could only catch Jasmine and Snookie was too smart for me and hid.  Maybe I can get her tomorrow.  Casio my male cat loves to lie on top of my new couch so now he is leaving an indent on the cushion.
