Party like a Princess!

Today at Catch the Bug there is a new challenge and the theme is Fairy Tale/Fantasy.  I just love this one so actually I made two Belle cards. The first one is using the image, Bella and Friends and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  Not only did my children watch this video growing up, but we have seen the musical. So it holds a special place in my heart. I put liquid applique on the candle.

What do you mean?

This week is just moving along and the Holiday Chaos is going on Catch the Bug and today is Day 5 for Smile for the Camera.  So it's to make a card with humor.  For my card, I used Puppy - Enough Reindeer and I added Spectrum Noir to the bells and Stickles to the hat along with some Liquid Applique to the snow and some glitter pen to the snowflakes.  Even with all the sparkles, I couldn't cheer up this poor pup who couldn't join the magic reindeer.  I all think we have days like that.....lol.  Hope you get a chance to check out what my team mates have created and have some laughs and it leaves you with smiles.

Since I mailed out around 100 Christmas cards, I figured I better get started on making my stash for the upcoming year.  So I had this image colored from Lili of the Valley - Christmas Robin and the sentiment is from TLC, Create.  I used both a Marvy and Liquid Applique for the snow on the branches.  The brown paper is embossed.  We are actually getting some snow right now.

Today is day 5 of the Holiday Chaos at Catch the Bug where it is Humor Me Challenge.  For this Challenge, I made a card using Gus Christmas Aspirin along with the sentiment.  I used Glossy Accents on the glasses, a pom at the end of the hat, liquid applique on the hat and suit edges.

Today is the start of a new Challenge at Imagine That Digistamp Creative Playground.  It is Anything Goes, and if you use an image from Imagine That you will get this wonderful set from Imagine That called Flamingo Dress Up.  I made a Christmas flamingo.  Watch for some sentiments and papers that will be coming out later in the week, hint, hint.  I added some liquid applique to the hat.  I made this a  center step card.

I just love the Doctor Digis House of Stamps and I thought this one, Lagerfest Lottie, was perfect for St. Patrick's Day.  I have a sentiment and patterned papers from TLC.  After I colored it....I thought I should have done green beer, but I'm not sure if all places do that.  I did add liquid applique for the beer foam.

I've had this image colored for quite some time, but I just haven't put it together until tonight.  This is the image for the Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Challenge #7 - Cupcake Kitty, and the sentiment is from TLC.
I have three Siamese cats and I would usually like to color the cat that color, but it has been depressing that my male cat has been loosing weight lately.  I took him to the vet this fall and his labs were normal and she couldn't find anything wrong with him.  I took him back and to my shock he has lost 3 pounds and was down to 6.3 pounds!  She believes that he has an abdominal lymphoma and I didn't want to do a scan since it would take a week or two to have it performed so instead I wanted to start him on Prednisolone which is a steroid to try to help him feel better and buy us some time.  My son is in South Carolina until June which she didn't think it would buy him that much time.  She said it was not steroids for humans that would stimulate his appetite, but that doesn't seem to be the case he is now wanting snacks, treats and to eat.  I weighed him today one week later and he is 7 pounds.  So now I hope she is wrong and it is a gastritis and my denial will change if he begins to loose weight again.

I have this card that will be posted on the Thursday Inspiration at Imagine That Digistamp, but I wanted to post it today because my daughter will be coming and I wasn't sure if I will have time to get it all posted since she is a distraction for me, hehe.  This is using one of the new stamp sets called Dachshund Christmas and I colored it in non-Traditional Christmas colors.  I used a patterned paper from TLC.  I added a blue liquid applique on the sweater and a white on the hat and a glimmery pom on the hat.

Today at Catch the Bug is Day 5 of the Holiday Chaos and it is "Make it Funny" which I love to do anyway.  It is also a photo challenge and it has Santa with a drink.  It has a bright blue sky so I chose blue for my monochrome color.  I found that I had a tube of Liquid Applique in blue so I just had to use it.

Imagine That Digistamp has a new release today, Dachshund Party which I used for this cute birthday card.  I just had to paper piece the sweater and balloon with some paper from Sweet Shoppe.  I was so excited to do a card that wasn't for Christmas, and I have several birthday cards that I need.  I added a yellow liquid applique to to the areas of the party hat and sweater.
